Each Claim ID may be used for one claim only. Can’t find your Claim ID? Contact the Settlement Administrator . Settlement InformationThe Court has adjourned the Final Approval Hearing due to a scheduling conflict. The hearing is now scheduled for November 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom 905, 40 Centre Street, New York, NY 10007. A settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit against TED Foundation Inc. (“TED” or “Defendant”). The class action lawsuit claims that TED allegedly disclosed users’ personally identifiable information to third-party service providers, without users’ informed, written consent, in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act (“VPPA”), 18 U.S.C. § 2710. The VPPA defines PII to include information which identifies a person as having requested or obtained specific video materials or services from a video tape service provider. Defendant denies that it engaged in any wrongful conduct or violated any law, and the Court has not decided who is right. The parties have agreed to settle the lawsuit to avoid the uncertainties and expenses associated with continuing the case. You are included in the Settlement if you are a person in the United States who, between October 19, 2021 and July 14, 2026, was a TED account holder and watched a pre-recorded video on the website TED.com or on TED’s iOS or Android mobile applications (“Settlement Class Member(s)”). Persons included in the Settlement will be eligible to automatically receive two free months of TED Membership (the “TED Membership Benefit,” estimated to have at least a $10.00 value), subject to their agreement to activate the TED Membership Benefit. However, each Settlement Class Member may instead file a Claim Form that will, if approved by the Settlement Administrator, entitle him or her the option to select in lieu of the TED Membership Benefit either (i) a cash payment for $5.00, subject to a pro rata reduction as explained below, or (ii) a donation option, whereby a Settlement Class Member agrees that their cash payment from the Settlement will be remitted as a donation to TED Foundation Inc. See Question 6 for details. For those Settlement Class Members who select the cash payment option, if approved by the Court, Defendant will make available up to $350,000.00 under the Settlement to pay all valid claims submitted by the Settlement Class (the “Settlement Fund”). In no event shall the amount Defendant pays in cash to said Settlement Class Members exceed $350,000.00. Read the Notice carefully. Your legal rights are affected whether you act, or don’t act. Your Legal Rights and Options in This SettlementYou will automatically receive the TED Membership Benefit (subject to your activation of the benefit). Selecting this option will give up your rights to sue Defendant about the claims in this case. By submitting a claim form, you will have the option to receive a cash payment or donate your cash payment to TED. Selecting this option will give up your rights to sue Defendant about the claims in this case. If you opt out of the settlement class, you will receive no benefits from the Settlement, but you will retain any rights you currently have to sue Defendant about the claims in this case. If you remain in the settlement class but don’t like the Settlement, you can write to the Court explaining why you don’t like the Settlement. If you remain in the settlement class and have objected to the Settlement, you can ask to speak in Court about your opinion of the Settlement. TED Video Privacy Settlement — 2 Free Months or $5 Cash
TED account holders who watched a video on ted.com or the TED apps get two free months of TED Membership automatically, or $5 cash if they claim by Oct 26, 2026. Claim detailsVideo Privacy · Claims Open Current StatusClaims are open and the deadline is October 26, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. That same date is also the deadline to exclude yourself or to object. The Court granted preliminary approval and authorized the notice, but it has not granted final approval. The Final Approval Hearing is set for November 12, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. before Judge Dale E. Ho in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the notice warns the hearing may be postponed without notice. No benefit is delivered yet. The notice states that benefits go out about 60 days after final approval and after any appeals process is complete. TED denies disclosing anything unlawfully, and the Court has not decided who is right. What Changed Recently? The claim window is the development. The Court preliminarily approved the settlement and authorized the notice program, and the notice start date was extended by stipulation, which is why the class period runs all the way to July 14, 2026 — unusually close to the present for a case filed in 2023. One date matters if you are weighing an objection: class counsel's request for attorneys' fees was due to be filed with the Court and posted on the settlement website by September 10, 2026, more than six weeks before the objection deadline. Anyone who wants to see what is actually being requested before deciding should look there rather than guess. Who Qualifies? The settlement class is all TED account holders in the United States who watched a pre-recorded video on ted.com or on TED's iOS or Android mobile applications between October 19, 2021 and July 14, 2026. Two parts of that definition do the work. You must have had a TED account — the claim theory depends on a logged-in user being identifiable, so watching a talk without an account does not put you in the class. And the video must have been pre-recorded, which is what the Video Privacy Protection Act reaches. How Much Can You Get?This settlement is structured differently from most, and the default is not cash. Every class member automatically receives the TED Membership Benefit: two free months of TED Membership, which the notice describes as having a value of at least $10. You do not file anything to get it. You can instead choose one of two alternatives, and either one requires submitting a claim form:
Choosing either alternative forfeits the membership benefit. You cannot take both. That produces an unusual decision for a settlement: the option requiring no effort is the one with the higher stated value. Two free months valued at $10 or more is nominally worth more than a $5 cash payment that may shrink under the cap. The cash is the better choice only if you would not actually use a TED Membership, because an activation link you never redeem is worth nothing. Weigh it on that basis rather than on the headline numbers. One more thing is worth knowing about the donation option. The notice is explicit that it is not the same as opting out: a class member who donates is still bound by the settlement and still releases their claims. It redirects the money; it does not preserve your right to sue. |

Thermoflex $9M BIPA Settlement — About $900, Paid Automatically
Scanned a fingerprint timeclock at Thermoflex in Illinois from July 2015 to Sept 2020? An estimated $900 is paid automatically if the $9M deal is approved. Claim detailsBiometric Privacy · Pending — Automatic Payment Current StatusThere is no claim form: class members identified in the defendants' records will be mailed a check automatically if the court approves the settlement. The court in Lake County, Illinois has granted preliminary approval, and the final approval hearing is set for November 4, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. The deadline to opt out, to object, or — for workers who never received a notice — to submit a Verification Form is October 26, 2026. No payment date had been announced as of September 30, 2026. What Changed Recently?Thermoflex Corp. and Thermoflex Waukegan, LLC, together with staffing agencies TempsNow Employment and Placement Services, LLC and M.M.D., Inc. d/b/a The AllStaff Group, agreed to a $9 million settlement to resolve claims under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). The parties signed the settlement agreement at the end of July 2026, and the court's preliminary approval opened the notice period that runs through October 26, 2026. The lawsuit, Johnson v. Thermoflex Corp., et al., was filed in July 2020 in the Circuit Court for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit in Lake County. Plaintiffs allege that workers at Thermoflex's Waukegan facility had to scan their fingerprints on a NOVAtime timeclock to record their hours, without first receiving the written disclosures and signing the written consent BIPA requires. The defendants contest those claims and deny violating BIPA, and the settlement is not an admission of wrongdoing. The case was paused for well over a year while Illinois courts decided several questions that shaped every workplace BIPA case — whether workers' compensation law bars these claims, which statute of limitations applies, and when a BIPA claim accrues. After the stay lifted in March 2023, the parties litigated the pleadings, exchanged discovery that included more than a dozen depositions, and mediated twice, in January 2025 and April 2026, before reaching the deal. Who Qualifies? The settlement class is everyone who performed work for Thermoflex in the State of Illinois and used a finger-scanning device at any time from July 27, 2015 to September 3, 2020. That includes workers placed at Thermoflex through a staffing agency; the notice describes the class as people who scanned during their work placement at Thermoflex. Class members were identified through the defendants' records, and those people were sent a notice. Anyone who fits the definition but did not receive one can still join the payment by submitting a Verification Form (see below). How Much Can You Get?The $9 million fund works out to a gross payment of $1,532.18 per class member. That figure is reduced by settlement administration costs, attorneys' fees of up to 40% of the fund plus costs, and a service award of up to $10,000 for the class representative, all of which the court still has to approve. The notice estimates the net payment at approximately $900 per person. The $900 figure is an estimate. The final amount depends on what the court awards in fees and costs. Checks expire and become void 180 days after they are issued. A similar workplace timeclock case, the ZK Technology BIPA settlement for Alliance Ground workers, is also paying Illinois workers who clocked in with a finger or face scan, but it requires a claim form. What Proof or Notice ID Is Required?Workers who received a notice need to do nothing — no claim form, no ID and no documents. The check is mailed automatically after final approval. Workers who did not receive a notice must prove they belong in the class by completing a Verification Form, either online through the official settlement website or on a downloadable paper form. The settlement website does not describe what documentation, if any, the form asks for, so have your dates of work at Thermoflex and the staffing agency that placed you, if any, on hand. Anyone who received a notice should not file a Verification Form. |

Claim detailsThe National Association of Realtors (NAR) and several real estate brokerage companies agreed to pay more than $120 million to resolve claims they violated federal antitrust laws by conspiring to raise and fix real estate broker commissions. The NAR settlement benefits individuals who purchased a home that was listed on a multiple listing service (MLS) anywhere in the United States where a commission was paid to any brokerage in connection with the transaction during the applicable class period. The class period varies by state, with qualifying purchase dates beginning Dec. 8, 2017, Dec. 8, 2018 or Dec. 8, 2019, depending on where the home was located. The settlement does not include individuals who sold a home and are part of existing home seller settlements or individuals who exclude themselves from the settlement. Homebuyers in the class action lawsuit claim the NAR and several real estate brokerages conspired to raise and fix real estate broker commissions, resulting in inflated home prices and reduced buyer-broker services. The NAR is a national trade association for real estate agents. The defendants have not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $120,334,500 settlement to resolve the real estate lawsuit. Under the terms of the NAR settlement, class members can receive a cash payment based on the amount they paid in commissions for their home purchase. Class members who paid the highest commissions will receive the largest payments. Exact payment amounts will vary. The defendants also agreed to maintain or extend certain business practice changes to ensure real estate commissions are competitive and fair. The exclusion and objection deadlines are Sept. 17, 2026. The final approval hearing for the real estate antitrust settlement is scheduled for Nov. 2, 2026. $4.5M AMN Healthcare Interpretation Recording Class Action Settlement
AMN Healthcare will pay $4.5 million over claims it recorded and monitored medical interpretation sessions in California. Claims close October 27, 2026. Claim detailsCurrent StatusClaims are open. The deadline to file online or by mail is October 27, 2026, and a mailed claim must be postmarked on or before that date. The same October 27, 2026 date is also the deadline to object to the settlement or to ask to be excluded from it. The Court granted preliminary approval and has set a final approval hearing for December 18, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. Pacific time in Dept. C-63 of the San Diego County Superior Court. No final approval order has been entered and no payment date has been announced, so nothing will be paid until the Court approves the settlement and any appeals are resolved. What Changed Recently? The Court preliminarily approved the settlement and the Settlement Administrator opened the claims process, which is what makes this page actionable now. The underlying lawsuit alleges that AMN Healthcare, Inc. and AMN Healthcare Language Services, Inc. violated the California Invasion of Privacy Act by recording or monitoring calls and videos they interpreted in California without the knowledge or consent of the patients involved. AMN denies the allegations and denies any wrongdoing or liability. No court has made any finding of liability, and the companies further deny that the case would be appropriate for class certification outside of settlement. As part of the settlement, AMN confirmed that it instructed relevant employees to stop recording interpretation sessions at the beginning of January 2024, and to stop all monitoring of interpretation sessions beginning in November 2024. Who Qualifies? The settlement class is made up of all people who were physically present in California and whose communications were monitored, listened to or recorded by AMN, its employees, contractors, agents or anyone acting on its behalf, without prior consent. The claim form narrows this to conversations interpreted by AMN between December 4, 2022 and August 7, 2026, and that is the window a claimant certifies to when filing. The key fact is where the person was during the appointment, not where they live. Someone who lives in another state but was in California for the interpreted visit falls inside the class definition; a California resident whose interpreted appointment took place elsewhere does not. The class excludes AMN and its subsidiaries, parent companies, successors, predecessors and employees; anyone who timely asks to be excluded; counsel for either side and members of their immediate families; government entities; the judge assigned to the case, along with immediate family and court staff; and the successors or assigns of any of those groups. How Much Can You Get?AMN agreed to a gross settlement fund of $4.5 million. Each class member who does not opt out and files a valid claim receives a proportionate share of the net settlement fund, subject to a maximum of $10,000 per class member across all distributions. The net fund is what remains after the Court-approved deductions come out of the $4.5 million: service award payments to the two named plaintiffs of $10,000 each, the cost of notice and settlement administration, and attorneys' fees and costs. Class counsel may ask the Court for up to 35% of the gross fund in fees, plus their actual litigation costs. The Court decides the final amounts. No per-person estimate has been published, and one cannot be calculated in advance because the payment depends on how many valid claims are filed. Treat the $10,000 figure as a ceiling on any single recovery rather than an expected payment. What Proof or Notice ID Is Required?Filing online requires a Class Member ID. The claim portal's first screen asks for that ID and will not advance without it, which makes this a proof-required settlement even though no receipts or medical records are needed to file. |

Fort Wayne Medical Education Program (FWMEP) Data Breach Class Action Settlement
People notified of the December 2024 Fort Wayne Medical Education cyberattack can claim $40 with no documentation, or up to $5,500, by October 27, 2026. Claim detailsData Breach · Claims Open Current StatusClaims are open and close October 27, 2026. The Superior Court for Allen County, Indiana authorized notice to the class and set a final approval hearing for December 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time; no final approval order has been entered and no payment date has been announced. The deadlines to opt out and to object fall on the same day claims close, October 27, 2026, rather than weeks earlier as they do in most settlements. FWMEP denies that it did anything wrong, and the court has not decided who is right. What Changed Recently? The claim period opened after the Superior Court for Allen County, Indiana preliminarily approved the settlement in In re Fort Wayne Medical Education Program Data Incident Litigation, Cause No. 02D02-2510-CE-000038, and directed that notice be mailed to the class. The consolidated complaint was filed on November 19, 2025 and pleaded negligence, negligence per se, breach of implied contract, unjust enrichment and invasion of privacy. It alleges that during a targeted cyberattack on FWMEP's computer systems in December 2024, files containing private information were accessed, and that those files may have held personally identifiable information and protected health information. The parties reached an agreement in principle at a full-day mediation on April 14, 2026, negotiated the remaining terms over the following weeks, and signed the settlement agreement in July 2026. FWMEP asserts legal and factual defenses to every claim, denies all charges of wrongdoing or liability, and agreed to settle to avoid the expense and distraction of continued litigation without admitting anything. No later development appears in the settlement documents; the next scheduled event is the December 7, 2026 final approval hearing. Who Qualifies? The court defined the settlement class as all persons whose private information was potentially compromised as a result of the incident and who are included on the settlement class list. Two things follow from that wording. There is no state-residency requirement and no patient or account requirement in the definition, so the class is not limited to Indiana. But membership is not open-ended either: it turns on being on the list FWMEP generated from its own records, which the company provided to the settlement administrator, and which is also what determined who was mailed a notice. The class splits into two subclasses that decide which monitoring service a claim pays out. Group 1 is class members whose Social Security number may have been compromised in the incident. Group 2 is class members whose private information was involved but whose Social Security number was not. FWMEP supplied that division to the administrator on the class list, so a class member does not have to determine it themselves — a valid claim is matched to the right service. Three groups are excluded: the judge evaluating the fairness of the settlement along with court personnel and their immediate families; FWMEP itself, any entity it controls or that controls it, and its affiliates, legal representatives, attorneys, heirs, predecessors, successors and assigns; and anyone a court finds criminally guilty of initiating, causing, aiding or abetting the cyberattack, or who pleads no contest to such a charge. The preliminary approval order describes the class as numbering in the thousands, and the settlement documents do not give an exact figure. OCA is tracking several other medical-provider breach settlements with open claim windows. The Summit Medical Group data breach settlement offers the same CyEx Medical Shield Complete monitoring product, and the Modernizing Medicine settlement covers the electronic health records vendor whose servers held records for medical practices. |

NAR Homebuyer Antitrust Settlement — $120.3M for MLS Home Purchases
Bought a home listed on an MLS where a commission was paid? The $120.3M NAR homebuyer antitrust settlement pays claims by October 27, 2026. Class periods by state. Claim detailsReal Estate Antitrust · Claims Open Current StatusClaims are open. The deadline to file is October 27, 2026, for both online submissions and mailed claim forms, which must be postmarked by that date. The deadline to exclude yourself or to object is earlier — September 17, 2026. The court has granted preliminary approval, and a final approval hearing is scheduled for November 2, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. before Judge Lindsay C. Jenkins in the Northern District of Illinois. Final approval had not been granted and no payment date had been announced as of August 13, 2026. The defendants deny the allegations and deny that they violated any law; no court or jury has decided who is right. Key Dates at a GlanceDeadline to exclude yourself (opt out) Deadline to object to the settlement November 2, 2026, 9:30 a.m. Who Qualifies? The settlement class is defined as all people who purchased a home that was listed on a multiple listing service anywhere in the United States, where a commission was paid to any brokerage in connection with the transaction, during the applicable class period. Two points decide most eligibility questions. First, the purchase must have been of an MLS-listed home — and that includes listing services not affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS®, such as the Real Estate Board of New York and its residential listing service, the Northwest Multiple Listing Service, West-Penn Multi-List and MLS Property Information Network. Second, your purchase date has to fall inside the class period for your state, and those dates differ depending on which defendant the claim runs against. Both sets of dates are in the tables below. You are not in this class if you opt out, or if you already released these claims against a particular defendant through one of the home seller settlements (Burnett, Gibson, Keel or Hooper) — in which case you are excluded as to that defendant. Counsel for the parties, the mediation special master, and the court and its staff and their immediate families are also excluded. This Covers Homebuyers, Not Home SellersThis is the single most common point of confusion, so it is worth stating plainly: membership is based on buying a home. Having sold one is not a basis for inclusion, even if you both bought and sold. The National Association of REALTORS® is a defendant here and was also a defendant in the earlier home seller cases, so "the NAR settlement" can refer to either side of that litigation — this page covers the buyer side. Sellers were covered by separate, earlier settlements in other lawsuits — Burnett v. The National Association of Realtors (W.D. Mo.), Gibson v. The National Association of Realtors® (W.D. Mo.), Keel v. House of Seven Gables Real Estate (W.D. Mo.), and 1925 Hooper LLC v. The National Association of Realtors (N.D. Ga.). NAR's $418 million settlement, the figure most people have seen in the news, is the seller side of that group, and its claim window has already closed. This settlement does not overlap with those; it resolves the claims of homebuyers who were left out of them. If you are a class member in one of the seller settlements, you are excluded here and may not receive a payment. A Second Homebuyer Settlement Is Also Open — With an Earlier DeadlineThis is not the only open settlement for homebuyers who paid a broker commission on an MLS-listed home. Keller Williams ($20,000,000) and RE/MAX ($8,500,000) settled the related Batton v. The National Association of REALTORS case in the same court for a combined $28,500,000, and that claim window closes August 25, 2026 — about two months before this one. It requires no documentation to file. |
